Valdemar Legacy

Located in the Rioja region of Spain, Conde Valdemar, one of the most iconic wine collections from the Valdemar family, was founded in 1889 in Oyón. They continued to create wine until in the 1980s, Jesús Martínez Bujanda (4th generation) and his father founded Bodegas Valdemar. They became pioneers, creating the first barrel-fermented white wine and introducing varieties like Maturana and Tempranillo Blanco. Located in Rioja, Spain, the family has spent over 130 years crafting wines from their own vineyards, maintaining a tradition of quality and craftsmanship.
